"How I learned to stop worrying and love adulthood."
I have the best memories of my time at University of Missouri-St. Louis, so when I was invited to create a poster for an alumni show in 2019 I jumped to work.
With all the stress of day-to-day life I kept drifting back to my near-daily obsession of listening to true crime podcasts or watching horror movies… and that’s how this poster was born. Now I shamelessly embrace my cathartic happy place that’s somewhere between the next episode of My Favorite Murder and watching Scream or Hereditary for the zillionth time.
Creating the iconography for this poster was a ton of fun for this horror nerd; lots of tiny…almost adorable odes to my favorite genre.
